Development On The Notices Of Additional Assessment For The Years Of Assessment 2016 And 2017 Received From Inland Revenue Board Of Malaysia

We refer to Maxis Berhad's announcements to Bursa Securities on 20 November 2020 and 14 December 2020 in relation to the notices of additional assessment (“Notices”) for the years of assessment 2016 and 2017 issued by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.

During the case management held on 16 February 2021, the High Court gave instructions for the filing of submissions and in the interim granted a further stay of the enforcement of the Notices. The Company will provide updates from time to time of any material developments to this matter.
