The Board of Directors of Maxis Berhad ("Maxis") wishes to announce the changes to the Board of Directors of Maxis Berhad, following the changes in nominee directors of Maxis Communications Berhad, the majority shareholder of Maxis:-

1. The resignation of Dr Fahad Hussain S. Mushayt at the conclusion of the Maxis' Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled on 7 May 2014;

2. Chan Chee Beng who is due to retire by rotation at the AGM has expressed his intention not to seek re-election at the AGM, and as such will relinquish his position at the conclusion of the AGM;

3. The appointment of Fraser Mark Curley as a director to replace Dr Fahad Hussain S. Mushayt. Fraser Mark Curley 's appointment will be with effect from 8 May 2014; and

4. The appointment of Lim Ghee Keong as a director to replace Chan Chee Beng. Lim Ghee Keong 's appointment will be with effect from 8 May 2014.
