Maxis Berhad wishes to announce that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (“MCMC”) has, on 5 December 2012, allocated 2 x 10MHz Frequency Division Duplex spectrum for 4G Mobile Broadband in the 2600 MHz band to Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd (“Maxis”) ( a wholly owned subsidiary of Maxis Berhad) allowing Maxis to provide 4G Mobile Broadband Wireless Access Services. The said allocation is on terms specified by MCMC.
