| Maxis Berhad ("Maxis") had on 18 July 2025 received a notification pursuant to Para 14.09(a) of the MMLR of Bursa Securities from Goh Seow Eng ("GSE") of the occurrence of his dealing in the shares of Maxis ("Maxis Shares") outside closed period. Pursuant to the terms and conditions of an incentive arrangement arising under the employment agreement entered by GSE with Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maxis ("Agreement"), a cash incentive was used to acquire Maxis Shares from the open market and such shares are currently held by CIMB Commerce Trustee Berhad ("CIMB") or its nominee. These Maxis Shares shall, subject to the satisfaction of the vesting conditions and the terms and conditions of the Agreement, vest in GSE on 30 June 2028. The vesting conditions comprise, amongst others, the performance targets for the financial years 2025, 2026 and 2027, as stipulated by Maxis' Nomination and Remuneration Committee. This announcement is dated 18 July 2025. |
