Further to our announcement dated 26 July 2022, Maxis Berhad (“Maxis”) wishes to announce that the final meeting of MML, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maxis, was held on 16 March 2023 and the Return by Liquidator Relating to Final Meeting was lodged by the Liquidator with the Labuan Financial Services Authority and the Official Receiver on 17 March 2023. Following the said lodgement, MML was dissolved on 15 June 2023 pursuant to Section 459(5) of the Companies Act 2016.

The dissolution of MML will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of Maxis Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
