Maxis wishes to announce that Maxis Mobile (L) Ltd ("MML"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maxis has, on 26 July 2022, held its members's meeting, at which it was resolved by way of special resolution that MML be wound-up voluntarily and that Datuk Chin Chee Kee JP be appointed as Liquidator of MML.

MML has not commenced operations since its incorporation.

The voluntary liquidation of MML will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of Maxis Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2022. None of the directors or major shareholders of Maxis or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said voluntary liquidation.
