Change Of Name Of committee And Changes In Composition Of Transformation And Government And Regulatory Affairs Committee

Maxis Berhad wishes to announce the following changes with effect from 1 July 2022:-

Change of Name

The Business and IT Transformation Committee (BIT) is now known as the Transformation Committee.  

Transformation Committee Alvin Michael Hew Thai Kheam has been redesignated as a Chairman in place of Robert Alan Nason who resigned as a Director of Maxis Berhad and consequently the Chairman of the Transformation Committee on 30 June 2022.

The composition of the Transformation Committee after the changes are as follows:-

1. Alvin Michael Hew Thai Kheam (Chairman, Independent Non-Executive Director)

2. Ooi Huey Tyng (Member, Independent Non-Executive Director)

3. Abdulaziz Abdullah M. Alghamdi (Member, Non-Executive Director)

4. Lim Ghee Keong (Member, Non-Executive Director)  

Government and Regulatory Affairs Committee (GRAC)

Uthaya Kumar A/L K Vivekananda has been appointed as a Member in place of Robert Alan Nason who resigned as Director of Maxis Berhad and consequently as a Member on 30 June 2022. The composition of the GRAC after the changes are as follows:-

1. Tan Sri Mokhzani bin Mahathir (Chairman, Non-Executive Director)

2. Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad bin Raja Tun Uda (Member, Non-Executive Director)

3. Lim Ghee Keong (Member, Non-Executive Director)

4. Uthaya Kumar A/L K Vivekananda (Member, Independent Non-Executive Director)
