Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad Bin Raja Tun Uda is currently the Chairman of Binariang GSM Sdn. Bhd., Ekuiti Nasional Berhad, Icon Offshore Berhad, Yayasan Amir and Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor and a Director of Yayasan DayaDiri and Maxis Berhad. He is also the Chancellor of University Selangor and a member of Council of Royal Court, Selangor. He was formerly a Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad. He was also formerly Executive Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia, Chairman of the Leadership Team of PwC Asia 7, Chairman of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board and Danamodal Nasional Berhad. Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad Bin Raja Tun Uda will relinquish his role as Senior Independent Director with effect from 18 October 2021 and has resigned as a member of each of the Audit and Risk Committee and Remuneration Committee with effect from 18 October 2021. As previously disclosed on page 85 of the Maxis Berhad Integrated Annual Report for financial year ended 31 December 2020, Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad Bin Raja Tun Uda would has served a cumulative 12-year tenure as Independent Director on 17 October 2021 following which he will then revert to being a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. |
